Paul and the staff at the Emmanuel Training Center are currently using two rooms that have been
equipped with chairs and tables. The rooms are being used for French and
English classes. They will begin the
computer training when electricity is installed. They have purchased three sewing machines recently
and are starting a sewing program.
Paul is hoping to start a primary school in September of 2017. There are local orphanages with children who do not have the opportunity to go to school and he hopes to meet this need in the fall.

Paul
is also planning to start an English Bible study which he feels will allow
him to start a church within the
compound soon. It will be a bilingual
service to gain both English and French speaking students, teachers and other
people in the community.
Project 127 has held four fundraisers (a craft bazaar,
homeless neighbor blessing bags, a Paint Nite and a yard sale) since December
and we have had numerous donations. We
have been able to repay $18,600 of the interest free loan only by the grace of
God. The current balance for repayment
is $58,765. A visual to show our
progress of raising the funds is located in the narthex and updates are posted
on the Project 127 bulletin board in the hallway off of the sanctuary.
Adam Stultz and John Hubbard will be traveling with Glenn
Clark to the DR Congo in July. They plan
to visit the Emmanuel Training Center compound, preach The Gospel in Kinshasa
and participate in a Church leadership conference in Matadi.
We feel very blessed to be a part of what God is doing in DR
Congo and we are very grateful for the support of the Summerdean congregation!
By God's grace and for His glory!
